Refurbishment and extension to existing Victorian double-fronted weatherboard house.
The form and character of the original house is preserved with the new works indiscernible from the street.
A new living and dining area, kitchen, study and amenities form the new.
Sustainable design features:

Feature triangular double-glazed windows in the living area used to frame views of the garden and to control the glare from the hot western sun.

Rescued Golden Cypress timber used for kitchen box cladding and decking.

Recyclable steel cladding to living area.

Rainwater used to flush toilets and for garden irrigation.

Heat pump technology to generate hot water.

Thermal chimney for natural ventilation.
